Assignment 5 : Manipulation of an Image

1. I accentuated edges of the picture
2. I ajusted levels of lightning
3. I changed the hue to blue
4. I brighten some parts of the picture with the dodge tool with midtone range

1. I used healing to make disapear a women on the picture
1. Select the metro with the magnetic lasso tool then rigth click to select the inverse, I ajusted brightness, lightness, hue and saturation of that part of the picture
2. Select the inverse again and add a sumi-e effect to the metro, and ajust it's brightness and contrast
3. Blur the surrounding of the metro to blend the sumi-e effect of it to the color ajustment of the background
4. Put a neon glow and a posted edges effect on one of the 3 poster using the magnetic lasso tool to select it
5. Put a glowing edges and a patchwork effect on another porter using the magnetic lasso tool to select it
6. On the last poster(which is half of a poster) I put a chalk & charcoal effect and a stained glass effect
7. The last poster was too bright so I ajusted it's levels to make it's brightness more similar to the background

4. With the magnetic lasso tool, ajust hue to a green hue of the part selected
select the inverse, ajust hue to a pinkish-red hue of the part selected
1. Crop
2. Plastic wrap effect
3. Neon glow with blue glow color

1. With the magnetic lasso tool, add plastic wrap effect
2. Use star shaped brush to put yellow stars of different sizes with different opacity in lighten mode
3. Enhance brightness and contrast

Assignment 2: Motion

This is a slow motion picture of the metro. To acheive this picture the shutter speed was 1/10 second and ISO: 100

This is a slow motion picture of people walking around and going down the escalatiors. It is blurred because the shutter speed was 1/2 second and ISO: 80

Assignment 1 : Self portrait and camera procedures

Procedures:

1)      How to get photos from the camera from Picasa
-Go on Picasa
-Click on import
-Select Pictures you want to import
-Name the album
-Click on import selected
-Wait until all the pictures are imported. Do not touch your camera while that process

2)      How to create a Picasa Web Album
-Create an album by clicking on “create an album”
-Drag the picture you want in that album
-Select the album and click on “upload”

3)      How to upload a picture to my blog
-Sign in to your blog account
-Click on “New post”
-Click on the “Insert image” icon
-Select “From Picasa web album”
-Click on the picture you want to upload on your blog

4)      How to create a link to my Picasa web album on my blog
-Write something
-Highlight it then click on “link”
-Write the URL you what your link to go which is the URL of your web album (You copy/paste it)
